Like all the other – Jai Santoshi Maa, Jai Hanumana and the others……Since this is India movies with spiritual concept do work. Though they are not the actual hit films, but at least they reach to their average visitors. This may be because of the fact that the public in India mostly tend to be cultural and religious.
Anyways, as the name suggests, Vighnaharta Shree Siddhivinayak is the movie that cast Ganapati Bappa in its leading role!!! This is not a joke… It is true…. In other ovies we see that it is the main actor who saves all from the difficulties. But this time, it is Ganapati Bappa who saves all from the difficulties. That means Bappa is the actor in the movie.

Recently, we heard that Shahid and Priyanka’s are on the verge of separation. It was known that quite often they were seen together, but nowadays they are facing some problem in their relation. It is Shahid’s nature that is causing Priyanka to be quite tensed.
Anyways!!! Recently, it is known that Gerard Butler is currently in Jaipur to spend some time with Priyanka.
Priyanka is currently in Jaipur for the shooting of her upcoming film, What’s your Rashee? Priyanka spent some time with Gerard when she visited Chicago. Both of them had lunch together there.
This time it is Gerard’s turn now. Gerard came in India a couple of days ago with some of his friends. On Tuesday, he went Jaipur to meet Priyanka. It is known that both of them dined together.

One of the questions is what was the reason behind Congress not asking him to contest?? Then he says that he does not get who is his friend and who is his enemy. He feels that there is some negativity related to him in the Congress Party. But he does not know, what is the reason behind that? He thinks that whatever he does, results in controversy. Neil Mukesh tortured in Jail – Shot a nude scene…

It is known that since Aa Dekhen Zara bombed, Neil Nitin Mukesh has postponed the release date of his next upcoming film, Jail.

Earlier it was known that Neil Mukesh, himself was studying jail atmosphere and for that he visited some jails actually. Now it is said that Neil who is shown as the prisoner in Jail shot a scene were he was being tortured by the jail authorities. This scene shows Neil nude. Madhur Bhandarkar, is very well known as a director who strives for perfection. For this scene too he demanded perfection but he already had discussed about the scene with Neil and other related staff. He assured Neil that he will make it sure that there will be no one other than the cinematographer during the shoot.

Neil was not comfortable with the idea, but when he was assured by Madhur, he agreed to do the scene. Madhur said that they personally visited some of the jails and they want to make this movie sound realistic. So sooting this scene for the movie is too crucial for him.

Imran Khan choosy for his films

It is known that Imran Khan has refused to feature in Kunal Kohli’s assistant Danish Aslam’s upcoming film. Earlier also Imran had rejected many films. It seems that Imran is being selective and just wants to do the films that would be worth for him. Or it might be that Imran is just reserved for his uncle, Aamir’s Production and hence he must be rejecting all the films.

He was asked for Delhi 6 also, but he refused to do the movie. Actually, Kidnap movie of Imran Khan did not receive good response. After that now, it is Luck movie of Soham Shah in which Imran is featuring.

Imran is keen on doing romantic comedy movies and also thriller movies. Next, it is Sanjay Gadhvi’s upcoming film in which he will be seen.

Before signing for any movie, he wants to be careful though he has offers from all major banners. Currently he is going through Puneet, Manish Malhotra’s nephew’s script.

Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in Love Aaj Kal

After struggling hard for the name Saif Ali Khan and director Imtiaz Ali have finally landed on a title….Love Aaj Kal for their upcoming film. It is known that this movie is produced by Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone features in the film opposite Saif Ali Khan.
It is known that Love Aaj Kal movie shooting started some months ago, but right from the beginning there was no name for the film. Unit members of the film used to call this film as Production No. 1 as it is the first home production film of Saif Ali Khan.
This is not new for Imtiaz Ali as he did the same for his previous films Socha Na Tha and Jab We Met. But here, in the case of Love Aaj Kal, Imtiaz had already thought for the name of the film. It was ‘Aaj Aur Kal’ or ‘Aaj Kal’. But Saif wanted this film to have some punch line like Jab We Met that is some english-hindi mixture in the title. So he sticked to Love Aaj Kal title as it is catchy as Jab We Met. But, Reportedly, Imtiaz Ali is still not happy with the title - Love Aaj Kal............

Ranbir rejects Kunal Kohli’s script

Though Kunal Kohli says that he has not yet completed the script of his upcoming film, there are many rumors in the industry about him approaching Ranbir Kapoor. It is known that Kunal Kohli approached Ranbir Kapoor of Saawariya fame for the leading role in his upcoming film. But Ranbir Kapoor rejected the film. Whereas, Kunal Kohli says that he has not yet completed his script and so there is no question of approaching Ranbir.
Whatever it is… whether approached or not, the reason behind the rejection of this film is quite interesting. Ranbir Kapoor read the script of Kunal Kohli’s this film, but it seems, he didn’t like the story line of the film. He asked Kunal to make some changes in the script. According to that, Kunal edited the script and showed it to Ranbir. But Ranbir, it seems was still not happy with the script.
Kunal and Ranbir had a long discussion about this where, Ranbir was constantly telling Kunal that nowadays, taste of the public has changed and they don’t like the same old stuffed stories. Instead, they like some new ideas or some new stories. Kunal did not agree to Ranbir’s this point and he explained Ranbir with an example of Yash Raj’s films. But Ranbir was not ready to agree to this. Neither was Kunal ready to take Ranbir’s idea.
Ranbir then said that his father was a superstar. But for Ranbir, he has to make his career in acting yet and he is on that way. So he was not in favor of taking any risk in his career.
So, later it is known that Kunal has let Ranbir go away and has decided to go for some other stars. He has decided to approach either Imran Khan or Shahid Kapoor for the film!!!

Also the news that Deepika Padukone is a girl with plenty boys news spread across at the time of OSO release. But that worked for OSO promotion after the release of the film. Then when it was Jab We Met’s time it was Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor break off news that churned a lot. All those churning news gave fame to Jab We Met. After that at the time of Billu’s release it was the issue regarding barber’s association opposing the word barber in the title of the movie. Also the stone thrown on Mannat of Shahrukh and the word Huzoor in the song of Billu worked for Billu’s publicity.
Before Jodha Akbar’s release it was the Rajput opposition that worked for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s promotion. After the release of Welcome movie it was the issue that Welcome not to be screened in Pakistan. Even this worked for Welcome’s publicity. Before the release of Race movie there was gigantic news about Saif- Kareena relationship.
Now I know, all are thinking, why I am reviewing all these things. Actually, this is because today I got to know that Shahid and Priyanka Chopra are going around. Both of them stay in the same buildings, but different wings. Often, they are seen at each others house. As we all know, Shahid and Priyanka are all set to feature in their upcoming film, Kaminey. And the rumors now say that the both are going to divulge about their relationship at the time of Kaminey’s release. Recently happened event was the lavish event for Neil Nitin Mukesh of Aa Dekhen Zara. It was an absolute delight for the observers around. Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu – Aa Dekhen Zara movie stars polished the environment of reality show - Indian Idol 4 to launch the Aa Dekhen Zara music.
Bipasha looked more slim and stylish in her short red costume, while Neil looked eye-catching and charming in his black outfit. The extraordinary couple mingled with the music and crooned some songs in front of celebrity judges Javed Akhtar and Sonali Bendre.
Later, they were seen interacting with the Indian Idol participators and wished them luck. Consequently, it is also known that Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor starred in the same show for their movie promotion. But this promotion of theirs, I think didn’t work much for Delhi 6…...

On daily basis, there are some or the other news that expresses some cold wars between the actors or the grudges they carry for each other. There is a saying that words and arrow cannot be taken back once thrown. Both the things do keep a mark to remember all things that hurt.
Same is the condition with Akshay Kumar. It is known that since 1994, Akshay Kumar possesses a grudge against Sanjay Dutt. In 1994 Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar were featuring for a film titled Amaanat. The scene that happened at that time was that, Raj Sippy, the director of Amaanat film had decided to picturize a song on Akshay Kumar. At that time Akshay Kumar was new to the Bollywood industry. It is known that when Sanjay Dutt got to know about this he convinced the director to picturize the song on him instead of Akshay Kumar. And Raj Sippy actually did that. He dropped his idea of picturising the song on Akshay and picturised it on Sanjay Dutt instead.
It is known that even though 15 long years have passed for this incident, but still, Akshay is carrying a grudge against Sanjay Dutt. Whenever they come together they Akshay reminds him of the incident and then the things really get difficult on the sets.
But director Anthony denies this saying that the incident isn’t true and the two don’t have any issues with each other. These are all rumors according to him. Instead whenever they meet each other they give a warm hug to each other.
He has also decided to make a film with the two. He has scheduled to start his shooting from 1st of March. I think many of us are aware of the title of the movie. If not, then let me tell that the title of the movie is Blue. And it is also known that Lara Dutta too is featuring in the film Blue.

Delhi 6 reviews…

Delhi 6 movie that features Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam released last week. I have heard all the songs from the movie and found them pretty good. When I saw the trailers and the promos of Delhi 6 I was desperate to watch the movie. The song Masakkali from Delhi 6 is superb actually.
I read many reviews of Delhi 6. Many of these reviews say that the movie would be too great if it had a good script. But then only because of the boring script it didn’t work. Some of the reviews also expressed that the actors and the actresses have tried their level best to give justice to their roles for the movie. But still, they found that Abhishek Bachchan could not do much. One review said that Abishek tries to act like his father, Amitabh, but he always fails to do so. He can never be like Amitabh Bachchan.
Some reviews were good and also said that this was the most awaited film, justified well and not like other Paisa waste movie.
Many reviews also compared this movie with Rakeysh Mehra’s previous hit movie, Rang De Basanti. It seems that Delhi 6 is not that worth as Rang De Basanti.
I have not yet seen the movie, but listening to the good and bad mixed reviews, am thinking of watching the movie as I am confused…..

Cold war between the siblings – Sanjay Dutt and his sisters

The war continues….Sanjay Dutt and Manyata are not on talking terms with the two sisters. On January 5^th Sanjay Dutt’s sister, Namrata celebrated her birthday and from that day they are not talking to each other. It seems this cold war has started after Sanjay entered in politics.

Latest issue that can be noticed was that Sanjay Dutt’s sisters, Namrata and Priya were not invited for Sanjay and Manyata’s wedding anniversary party on 10^th Feb. It is also known that before the party Manyata was telling everyone that number of attendees of the party will be more then the Filmfare awards attendees.

Weird thing of all is that Namrata’s husband, Kumar Gaurav is Sanjay Dutt’s best friend. But he too was not invited to attend the party.

It is known that both the sisters of Sanjay have a pleasant relation with Manyata. Sanjay and Manyata attended the Christmas party at Priya’s house. Also, the two were invited for Namrata’s birthday on 5^th January. But Sanju attended the party for at least 15 minutes and Manyata didn’t turn up for the party.

Last year when Manyata had thrown a party when Sanju was out of town Priya attended the party, but Namrata didn’t because she too was not in the town at that time.

Then what is the soar reason between the siblings because of which they are having such type of differences???

Earlier whenever such type of differences occurred, Sanju and the two sisters used to pick up the phone and would clear the matter. But this time this is not happening. Legendary singer Mukesh’s grandson, Neil, son of Nitin Mukesh is coming up with an upcoming film Aa Dekhen Zara. UTV decides not to release Dev.D in multiplexes

Producers and distributors are still fighting with the multiplexes. This fight started after the multiplexes refused to give 45 percent to the UTV motion pictures as a share for its movie, Dev.D that is coming soon.
UTV motion pictures have also decided that they will not release Dev.D film in any of the multiplexes across the country. Not only Dev.D but their next upcoming Delhi 6 also will not release in any of the multiplexes if the issue is not solved soon.
It is also known that UTV has also appealed other production houses, directors and producers to unit with each other and fight for the same. UTV also changed the location of Dev.D’s premiere. Earlier it was decided to be taken place at Cinemax, Versova. But later, they suddenly decided to shift the premiere to Chandan Cinema, Juhu because of the same issue.
Earlier, UTV and multiplexes had decided that, UTV will get 45 percent share. But then suddenly, they were shocked to here that the multiplexes would be giving only 43 percent of the share to UTV. Hence they have decided that until and unless the multiplexes do not follow their commitment, UTV will not release Dev.D and Delhi 6 in multiplexes.
There are many producers and directors who are supporting UTV for this. One of them is Eros International. It is known that next week that is on 12th of Feb Eros International is coming up with Billu Barber movie featuring Shahrukh Khan and Irrfan Khan. So now it is a big question that will Billu Barber release in multiplexes or not!!! But we can just wait for the updates and do nothing else then that.

Shahrukh Khan meets Manoj Kumar…

Shahrukh Khan managed to find some time from his busy schedule of Billu Barber to meet Manoj Kumar. Hearing this, I know… all of them are shocked!!! But it is true. Inspite of the spat after Om Shanti Om, SRK went to visit Manoj Kumar. For those whom, who don’t know the Om Shanti Om spat, Manoj Kumar was quite upset by Shahrukh Khan for including an insulting scene in Om Shanti Om. The scene described that a watchman at the theatre entrance could not recognize Manoj Kumar. SRK showed an Id card in which there was a photo, and the actor had his hand on his face (Manoj Kumar’s style)….and so on….
This was quite upsetting for Manoj Kumar and he also felt insulted because of the same. He also complained against Shahrukh Khan and had filed a case against Om Shanti Om asking them to chop that. Also he was very much frustrated because of the same.
But now, it seems all is well between the two. Or may be, Shahrukh is trying to cope up with Manoj Kumar for the matter. It is known that Shahrukh went to Manoj Kumar to visit his ailing mother in law.
He acted very friendly to Manoj Kumar’s grand sons. Also he had a chat with Manoj Kumar for some time. When Shahrukh asked him about why is he not doing any film now, Manoj Kumar answered that is there any problem to Shahrukh if he is not doing any film? Then they joked over their discussion and had an in general discussion.
Manoj Kumar said that he doesn’t like to meet the young actors and so he does not meet any but recently he had just spoke to Aamir for some reason. He also said that Salman is his best friend’s son, but still he has not seen him for around 19 years……

Actually there is a question raised by many of them regarding an upcoming movie of Sanjay Dutt. Name of this film that will star Sanjay Dutt is Munnabhai Chale Amrika…I know that many of them must not have heard about this movie. So let me first describe something about this movie….
Munnabhai Chale Amrika is the film directed by Raj Kumar Hirani and the producer of this film will be Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Sanjay Dutt has assured that the shooting for this film will start by the end of December 2009. Currently it is known that Sanjay Dutt is in Cape Town where he is shooting for his Luck movie. Then there is one more movie in his hand. 3 Idiots is the movie and the shoot for this movie will start as soon as he completes his shooting with Luck. Acording to this schedule of Sanjay Dutt though he has assured that he will start shooting for MCA by December end this year, he will not be able to follow the schedule. One more reason behind this is the major reason that avoids him from doing so….
Sanjay Dutt who is standing for the Lok Sabha elections has assured that he is going to follow his Munnabhai image prominently… According to the Election Commission’s Code of Conduct any actor who is standing for Lok Sabha election will not be allowed to screen during the campaign period. So because of this code of conduct for that period of time he will not be able to shoot for any of his films. Then what about Sanju Baba’s schedule??? Will he break the rule and also his Munnabhai image? Or will he stick to the rule ad postpone his schedule??

An international cosmetic brand wanted her to do the ad for their brand, but she declined saying that currently her hands are full of ads.
As we all know an international brand is supposed to be a trademark. It is supposed to be very important offer. Any other actresses in place of Kareena would have jumped for the international cosmetic brand.

Recently, Akshay Kumar proved himself that he is one up on Shahrukh. A TV channel, Neo Sports was looking for an interesting perception, which they could play during the constant one-day series between India and England. Both Percept Picture Company and Yash Raj Films had inclined their individual concepts based on their forthcoming films Jumbo movie for which Akshay has dubbed and the SRK starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Percept came up with the idea of Jumbo Khiladi of the Match, which is preferred by the viewers by sending SMS. Neo Sports preferred the Percept Picture Company idea over that of Yash Raj Films.
This is the second time in sequence that Akshay has got away from SRK. A couple of days ago there were news that both the actors were concerned in appearing as guests for the final episode of Bigg Boss 2. But, the producers of the show turned down Shahrukh and finalized Akshay as the special guest at the grand finale.
PPC had a good idea and we liked it very much. Besides, Akshay has a very sporty image which goes down very well with cricket. Today, Akshay is the biggest star. The ample of our country believe that he is really big. His presence adds a lot of value to the channel. Naveen Shah, CEO of PPC was more forthcoming. After Fashion it is Kites movie that will star Kangana. She felt very happy to work with Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori. She said that shooting with a foreign crew is a great learning experience. She was praising Hrithik a lot. She found him very concerned person and friendly too.
Later she spoke about Fashion movie. She was questioned that are doing drugs and exposing scenes taxing?? She answered that she has not done any love making scenes in the movie Fashion, but there are some scenes which are performance oriented. Acting for Fashion needed Kangana to stretch herself beyond Woh Lamhe, Gangster or even Metro. It was quite taxing for her.

After Superhero now time for Heroes….

After Superhero’s flop shows now it is time for Heroes to go on the floor. Drona was super duper flop movie. There are so bad reviews for the movie that Abhishek just cannot imagine. It seems that he blames that as the movie was not promoted well hence it went flop. But content wise the movie is not at all worth watching. Thought the special effects given to the movie were good enough, but still the movie looked kiddish!!!
Now as it is time for Salman Khan to fall on his toes, let’s wait for Salman’s upcoming movie Heroes. Heroes movie which casts Salman Khan, Sunny, Bobby, Sohail, Mithun, Dino, Preity is scheduled to release on 24th October.
